ABWH Farwestern Director, Marne Campbell just received tenure at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Campbell is now an Associate Professor of African American Studies. Her first book, Making Black Los Angeles: Class, Gender, and Community, 1850-1917 was published last fall by University of North Carolina Press.
