The Association of Black Women Historians (ABWH), founded in 1979, is a dynamic network of scholars representing every region of the United States and beyond. Membership in the ABWH is open to person’s interested in the research and teaching of African American Women’s studies. Our organization is comprised of professors (college and university), students (undergraduate and graduate), archivists, public historians, and others who value the study of African American women.

Life membership dues may be paid in two ways:
Institutional Membership – $100
