The new Association of Black Women Historians (ABWH) Featured Job Opportunities Page brings your job search to the attention of our international community of professors, students, archivists, public historians, teachers, and others who share an interest in Black women’s history and a commitment to wider diversity in the academy and related scholarly fields. ABWH reaches a wide network of members and non-members inside and outside of the academy.

One of the ABWH’s four organizational pillars is “to disseminate information about opportunities in the field.” The new Job Page is an affordable, effective way to help find diverse candidates for your organization’s position. All Job Page announcements are available free to the public.

For $150.00 USD institutions, employers, and agencies can:

·   Post your job announcement with no word limit

·   Post up to four positions at the same institution/company in one announcement

·   Have your ad posted and maintained on the ABWH website for up to 90 days from the posting date

·   Have your ad posted four times to our social media (Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter/X) once every two weeks

·   Have your ad highlighted in the “Featured Job Opportunities” section of our semi-monthly eTRUTH electronic newsletter for four consecutive issues

·   Use a credit or debit card to pay via PayPal

·   Email jobs@abwh.org to make any edits to your post at no extra cost
